Volunteer Policy

Volunteer Policy:

The Braddock Heights Barracudas are an all volunteer team, with the exception of our paid coaches. We rely entirely on our families to ensure our meets and events run smoothly. Every job from setting up to timing races helps to create a positive and fun environment for our swimmers.

Each family will be required to fulfill a minimum of six (6) volunteer points during the season. Volunteer points will be tracked throughout the season on the team website. At the end of the season, families who have gone beyond the required 6 points will be entered into a raffle to win a variety of prizes (one entry for each extra point). Those families not meeting the minimum volunteer requirement of six (6) points by the end of the season, will be assessed a $250 fee charged to their credit card on file.

Job sign up will take place each week. Jobs will open at 9am on the Sunday before the meet

*For those swimmers qualifying for and attending the FSSL All Star Meet, each family must provide one volunteer for their swimmer to be eligible to compete in this meet. This meet does not count toward the 6 point team minimum.
